note to self:On occasion, time will stand still  the skeptic inside me will always look for the mirror  wind will blow the dust of aeons into a strange dance  of leaves and gum wrappers, and I will always wonder if it’s real   
My brow seems to furrow  when I linger on the complexity of this beauty  the simplicity  the comfort I find in not knowing  my brow seems to furrow at the serenity   
It’s there, inside of me, building as the event horizon  
 
And, in the stillness of night, I stare a hole in the ceiling  
looking for god?  no  looking for you?  I know where you ar note to self:

pausejust slightly out of focus,  
but clear enough for me  sounds and sights of wonder  reclaim their place in the pantheon of optimism   
children wash themselves in summer heat,  
some, left out of the loop  
some, firmly tied into it  all are seeds of hope for a better way than this   
hours lose their importance,  
days forget to delineate  this is always this and now is for all time   
under the rock is where I find it  around the corner  on the tip of a tongue   
the droning of machinery and commerce,  
overcome by the silence of mindfulness, &nbs pause
